Cinderella nails

Hi. Sorry for the gap in posting but I went skiing! So I know this post is a bit lated but I decided to post it now anyway. Seeing as the new film  of cinderella was out in the UK recently then I decided to do some nails to match. I chose to use a sparkly blue polish for the background because I thought that it was very cinderella-y, I did a pumpkin, a deconstructed cinderella face, a glass slipper, the fairy godmother's wand and then just wrote cinderella. What do you think?

Black angled french manicure

Recently I have had a lot of coursework and mock exams so I haven't really had much time to do my nails. However, the other day I had a bit of time to do some simple nails so I chose to do an easy angled black french manicure with silver stripes. These were so easy to do and I quite like how they came out. I might try these with another colour when I am pushed for time again. What do you think?

Bright geometric nails

As the weather here in England is so gloomy at the moment, I decided to do some bright, colourful geometric nail art to cheer me up! And to make a bit more use of my striping tape, as I haven't used it much yet. I really like the colours I chose and I love looking at my nails when they are really bright! I really enjoy laying out patterns on my nails with striping tape so you may see some more nails using striping tape soon. What do you think?

Nude rose nails

I went to a shopping outlet the other day and they have lots of really good quality, cheap nail varnish. For a long time I have been looking for a nude nail polish but I have never really found one that I really like and that I think suits my skin tone. However, when I was shopping the other day i came across Maybelline forever strong pro in the shade "Porcelain Beige". I really like it and I knew that I wanted to do some simple nail art with it. I didn't want to do something too detailed so i decided on some roses. I have never really done any nail art like this before, I tend to go for more bright, in your face manis but i actually really like how they turned out. What do you think?

Friends tv show nails

I have always loved "Friends" but recently I have been watching a lot more of it again and  I remembered just how awesome it it! Therefore, needless to say, I decided to do some nail art inspired by it1 I decided to go for the simple white lettering and coloured dots which I have seen around quite a lot and added a coffee cup on my thumb. I also added a matte top coat which I prefer to them being shiny. I do think that I could've done these better but I don't dislike them.Sorry for the bad picture, hopefully i will have better lighting soon as it is getting brighter for longer! Anyway, what do you think?

Butterfly nails

As we are approaching spring, I have seen a lot of bright butterfly wing nails around so I decided to give them a try. I am not a big lover of green but I decided to use it as a base colour for this mani because I wanted it to be really bright and spring-y! These were really easy to do as all you need is a black striper and a dotting tool with white polish. What do you think?

Music note nails

Recently I bought some new neon nail varnishes and I felt like doing something a bit different on my nails so I decided on some rainbow music note nails. I started with pink music notes on one side of my thumb nail and went through all the different colours (orange, yellow, green and blue) to purple on my little finger. I also did piano keys on my ring finger! I really like the brightness of this manicure, What do you think?
